Miriam

Hello!! My name is Miriam and I am an English and Primary Education teacher. I studied to be an English teacher at the University of Zaragoza and I finished my degree in 2014.

I have studied English since I was a child and when I was 16, I was given the opportunity to study in the UK for two weeks in Worthing-England, that was the beginning of my passion about this language. I repeated this experience in Ireland and London (twice). I also studied as an Erasmus student in Aberdeen-Scotland, the last term of my degree.

I enjoy travelling and learning about other places, people and cultures. I have enjoyed a lot all my experiences abroad, that is way I truly think that knowing a second language, as English, is really important.

I started working as an English teacher before finishing my degree but I started to work in State Schools in September of 2016.

Nowadays, I am an English teacher and tutor of the 5th and 6th grade in a Primary and Infant State School.

The school centre where I work is a Grouped Rural School (CRA) which agglutinates two centres: one in Fabara and another one in Nonaspe. I work in Nonaspe where I teach English to all the students and other subjects to 5th and 6thcourses.

I am really pleased to participate in this project which gives the opportunity to my students to meet new friends who live so far away and who will teach them so much things about themselves and their reality.
