Escuela Municipal de Paniahue

Cole Paniahue1

The first Mngani School in Chile

«The School of Paniahue was born from the merger between the school Nº 53 of men and the School Nº 54 of women in 1980 and named Basic School F-296. It is in 1990 when it receives the name of Paniahue School, the one that is currently used and from 2004 is moved to its current location in Camilo Henriquez Nº 426.
The locality of Paniahue is located in Santa Cruz, in the province of Colchagua, next to Estero Chimbarongo.
The mission of our school is to provide every child with educational and human resources to access meaningful learnings and values in an educational environment that promotes healthy living, equality and their participation in artistic activities and sports.
Since 2010, the school has included a curriculum in English as a second language, with the use of interactive and innovative methodologies that stimulate and motivate the learnings of our students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. This year, we have been a pioneer school in the use of AMCO’s system of English Language Teaching in Preschool.
Currently, the school has an enrollment of 130 students from Preschool to Grade 8 of Primary Education.»
